SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
After analyzing our needs we determined we need to hire someone that can wear different hats and enjoys diversity. This can be a part time or full time position.
We need someone that can:
- Answer phones with a smile.
- Help out with basic administration (setting up accounts, updating our databases, .etc).
- Co-ordinate installation and service call appointments.
- Basic tech support (training provided).
- Everything else in between.
- Provide Friendly Customer Service including: doing what it takes to satisfy our clients, participating in 1-2 trade shows in Saskatoon.
- What other strengths do you have that can help take Reed Security to the next level?
Qualifications & Skills:
- Positive Mental Attitude - this will get you through any situation.
- You are pretty good with Microsoft Word and Excel and know how to use the Internet and send e-mails. You get extra points if you know how to use Simply Accounting or QuickBooks.
- Willingness to learn and multi-task.
- You have reliable transportation and are dependable.
- You are neat in appearance, have respect for others, and can consistently meet deadlines.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check. Don't even think of applying if your not trustworthy.
- A previous background in the security or service industry is an asset.

INSTALLATION/SERVICE TECHNICIAN
We are seeking someone with experience in the security industry. This a full time in house position M-F 40 hours per week. Our client base is the Saskatoon area and there is very little travel or overnights. If you are a sub-contractor in the security industry, please advise as we have a different compensation plan.
We need someone that can:
- Install and service a wireless and/or hard-wired alarm system in a residence or business (DSC, GE, Honeywell).
- Install and service a CCTV video surveillance system and set up for remote viewing (Hunt, American Dynamics, Pelco, Panasonic, and other leading brands).
- Install and service an IP based video surveillance system (Hunt, nuuo, Arecont, ACTi and other leading brands).
- Install and service a card access system (Kantech).
- What other strengths do you have that can help take Reed Security to the next level?
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years experience direct experience in the electronic security industry as a field technician.
- Positive Mental Attitude - this will get you through any situation.
- Previous experience with with IT, telecom, electrical, audio, paging, electronics, construction, or a cable company is an asset. You must be good with your hands.
- Willingness to learn and multi-task.
- You have reliable transportation and are dependable (a company vehicle and hand tools are provided).
- You are neat in appearance, have respect for others, and can consistently meet deadlines.
- Neat and accurate paperwork is a must.

We need someone that can:
- Answer questions and provide solutions to inbound callers that are pricing out security options.
- Drop off your business card to new businesses or businesses that are relocating.
- Provide computerized estimates and proposals.
- E-mail literature.
- Visiting our exisiting clients.
- Provide Fantastic Customer Service including: doing what it takes to satisfy our clients.
- Participating in 1-2 trade shows in Saskatoon.

Qualifications & Skills:

- You are experienced with MSOffice.
- You have reliable transportation and are dependable (a vehicle allowance is provided).
- You are neat in appearance, have respect for others, and can consistently meet deadlines.

- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
