We work with your IT staff to determine the best method to record and manage Reed HD video. In most cases, we supply our own network rather than using your existing network.

For some installations we supply NVR (Network Video Recording) software that you install on a modern dedicated PC/Server. We will provide you recommended specifications for the PC and even help you pick one out. NVR software is usually proprietary to the manufacturer. For example - if you install ACTi cameras, then we provide you ACTi NVR software.

NVR software allows you to configure, record, playback, and stream HD video cameras to any location with a network or high speed internet connection. It comes with a Digital PTZ function which allows you to zoom in on recorded video after the fact (this is as close as it gets to CSI).

A key benefit to NVR software is that it is scalable which means you can start with one camera and add as many as you want - one at a time or in multiples. Software can also have built in Video Analytics: General Motion, Missing Object, Foreign Object, Loss of Focus, People Counting and License Plate Recognition.

For other installations we supply NVR software and a standalone linux-based server similar to a DVR. The nuuo NVR mini is a cost effective solution that comes in 4, 8 or 16 channel configurations. A major advantage of this system is that it can record, manage, and stream more than 600 different cameras from 24 different manufacturers. It also comes with Video Analytics. Linux-based systems are extremely stable and are free from virus attacks.
