Project: Prairie Centre Credit Union
Prairie Centre Credit Union recently partnered with Reed Security to install Hi-Def Cameras at several branches in Saskatchewan.
Prairie Centre Credit Union offers Banking, Borrowing, Investing and Insurance products and services. With branches in Beechy, Dinsmore, Eatonia, Elbow, Elrose, Eston, Harris, Herbert, Kyle, Loreburn, Morse, Outlook, and Rosetown - they can look after your Personal, Business and Agriculture needs.
Before the project we met with Norris Rusling, Manager Corporate Technology, and provided a FREE Security Evaluation. After the installation we again connected with Norris and these were his comments:
1. We chose to go with Reed Security because of the great reviews from their other customers and their responses to our questions. They didn't try and sell us something that we didn't need, they listened to us and created a solution that worked for us.
2. We like the solution we got, because it does what we need it to do. The equipment is from a reputable Canadian company and we know that we will always have Reed Security there to help us get through any issue that may come up.
3. We would definitely refer Reed Security to others. Their installations have been done quickly, accurately and are well planned. Their equipment is good quality and works like expected.

Dave Schlegel joined Reed Security when he and his wife moved to Saskatoon to complete her post-secondary education. Calgary was always home though, and in 2016 they moved back to be close to friends and family.
Dave's experience in Saskatoon convinced him that Reed Security is a really great company that goes out of their way to look after it's People and Clients - so why not bring it to Alberta? After all, Reed already protects a number of clients in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Dave's expertise is helping People and solving problems. A TESTIMONIAL FROM DEPESH PARMAR, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, IDEAS INC

Before the project we met with Depesh Parmar, Executive Director, and provided a FREE Security Evaluation. After the installation we again connected with Depesh and these were his comments:
1. We decided to have our security needs assessed by Reed Security for multiple reasons. We were unhappy with our current service providers customer service. Also, we found our security system was dated and not providing the level of protection needed for our clients. After we conducted a security assessment, we were impressed with the options provided to improve our alarm system, cameras, key fobs and overall building security at a feasible price.
2. The systems provided by Reed Security have vastly improved the operations of our organization. The key fob system is easy to use allowing us to track who is entering the building and de-activate lost fobs. The hi-definition camera system is much improved, allowing us to view live streams on the go from our mobile devices and computers. Also, we can easily change alarm codes for new tenants entering the building. The install was done quickly and it was a pleasure to work with the Reed Security team.
3. I would definitely recommend Reed Security to others. The customer service is exceptional, they are always there to help you with each step in the process and any future needs. Not only is our security improved, but our operations as a whole runs more efficient.

How to Prevent Theft
- Use Common Sense
- If you lose a key, get the locks changed.
- Ask all strangers for identification.
- Never hide an extra key outdoor - especially underneath a mat or on top of a light fixture. This is the first place the bad guys look. Leave an extra house key with a friend or a neighbor.
- DO NOT advertise on Facebook or other social media that you are on vacation. If you want to post photos, then do it when you get home.
- For insurance purposes take photos of the contents of your home.
- Keep all receipts in a safe and easy to find location.
- Write down the model and serial number of all electronics.
- Make it Difficult
- Door chains are easy to bypass. Install deadbolts.
- Install a stopper or stick on all sliding doors and windows.
- Install window bars on all basement windows.
- Make sure all doors and windows are properly locked.
- Keep your premises well lit at night.
- Install timers that turn lights on at different times. This gives the appearance that someone is home.
- Install a monitored Home Security system
- 400% less likely to have a break-in.
- up to 25% insurance discount.
- optional ALARM.COM with automatic lights.
- In case you do have a break-in:
- If it looks like a door or window was forced open, DO NOT go inside. The Burglar may still be on site.
- Call the Police from your cellular phone or from a neighbor's house and wait.
