Summertime means more time outdoors - camping trips, long weekends, and evenings in the backyard. It also means empty homes, open garage doors, and more opportunity for criminals to snoop around.

If you see something suspicious, don’t ignore it.

• Call the Police and report the activity. You could be stopping a crime before it happens.

• Share the info with your neighbours, especially if it’s something like a strange vehicle cruising slowly down the street or someone poking around yards.

• Post in your neighbourhood Facebook group or community app. The more eyes, the better.

💡 Criminals don’t like attention. Neighbours who look out for each other make a street much harder to target.
