New & Noteworthy

YWCA SASKATOON NAMED FIRST COMMUNITY CAMERAS RECIPIENT

At Reed Security, one of our core values is Care. We talk a lot about protecting the communities we serve, but recently, we decided to put our tools where our mouth is.

We are incredibly proud to announce the successful installation of our inaugural Community Cameras project, and the very first recipient is the truly deserving YWCA Saskatoon.

They are currently putting the finishing touches on a brand-new, 90-space childcare center located at 140 Wall Street. This facility is a much-needed extension of the amazing work they already do at their 25th Street location, and we wanted to ensure their new space was as safe and secure as possible.

Trading Our Desks for Toolbelts

To make this massive project happen, we did something unprecedented: we completely shut down the Reed Security office for the day.

We formed cross-departmental installation teams to get the work done together.

The Experts: Our experienced technicians stepped up as project team leads, guiding the process from start to finish.

The Rookies: Members of our sales, admin, and support teams traded their everyday tasks for non-traditional roles, pulling wire, mounting cameras, and learning the ropes.

It was a phenomenal day of hands-on learning, cross-training, and team building. Getting out from behind our screens to physically build a safer environment was the ultimate expression of how much we care about our community.

Peace of Mind for Local Families

For the YWCA, safety isn't just a feature; it's a necessity.

Carla Huntington, the VP of Development & Engagement at the YWCA, shared that security is top of mind for their organization. The families dropping off their children at the new 140 Wall Street location need to know their kids are in a safe, monitored environment. Providing that ultimate peace of mind is exactly what the Community Cameras project is designed to do.

Carla also mentioned how easy and pleasant the grant process was, noting that without community support and great security, they wouldn't be able to do the vital work they do.

Does Your Non-Profit Need Smarter Security?

We couldn’t be happier with how our first Community Cameras installation turned out, and we are already looking forward to the next one.

If you are part of a local non-profit organization that could benefit from a state-of-the-art security system, we want to hear from you!

REED SECURITY PARTNERS WITH CANADIAN SECURITY LEADER INAXSYS

We’re adding another video surveillance line to our portfolio, and we’re doing it with a Canadian company that aligns with how we operate.

Reed Security has officially partnered with Inaxsys Security Systems to expand our video surveillance offerings. They’re headquartered in Canada, operate a Canadian data center, and back their technology with strong, responsive support. That combination matters to us, and it matters to our clients.

This week, David Hein, VP of Key Accounts & Business Development, and Juan Campos, Sales Manager for Central Canada, spent a full training day at our Saskatoon headquarters with our field technicians. The room included Reed Security techs along with several dealers and contractors we work closely with. Same systems, same standards, same expectations.

We don’t add new technology lines casually. If it doesn’t meet our requirements for reliability, data security, and real-world support, it doesn’t make the cut. Inaxsys earned their place in our portfolio.

More capability. More choice. Same commitment to quality.

1,179 NEW SUPERFANS AT REED SECURITY

In October 2024, we set a long-term goal at Reed Security:

10,000 SuperFans by December 2034.

This wasn’t about chasing fast growth.

It was about building something that lasts.

So we put the goal on the wall in our hallway. Hand drawn. Impossible to ignore. A daily reminder that customer experience is the work.

Real Progress. Real People.

In 2025, we’ve added 1,179 new SuperFans.

Most of them are right here in Saskatchewan, where we’ve built our reputation delivering smart home security and business security with a local-first mindset.

At the same time, we’re expanding across Canada through our Authorized Dealer network, bringing the same standards and expectations to new communities.

Growth matters. Consistency matters more.

How We Define a SuperFan

We don’t guess. We measure.

SuperFans are tracked through:

Google Reviews

  • 4.6 stars rating
  • #1 rated security company in Saskatchewan

Post-installation surveys

  • Feedback from smart home and business security installs

Client referrals

  • The highest compliment we can earn

Support Desk reviews

  • Because service doesn’t end after install day

Client testimonials

  • Real experiences, not marketing copy

If it’s not tied to real feedback, it doesn’t count.

Why Experience Comes First in Security

Security is personal. Whether it’s your home or your business, trust is everything.

Customer experience isn’t a department at Reed Security.

It’s the strategy.

We believe in Expert Local Service:

  • Local technicians and local support
  • Real people answering the phone
  • Same-day follow-up whenever possible
  • Owning issues and fixing them properly

That mindset is what allows us to serve Saskatchewan well and responsibly expand across Canada through dealers who share our standards.

Playing the Long Game

We’re proud of the 1,179 SuperFans added in 2025, but the real focus is the next one.

That’s how you build a company people recommend, whether they’re looking for smart home security in Saskatchewan or business security anywhere in Canada.

If you’re already a SuperFan, thank you.

If you’re not yet, we’re ready to earn it.

STRUGGLING WITH CASH FLOW? WE CAN FIX THAT

Most security dealers don’t fail because they can’t sell. They struggle because of cash flow.

It’s a common story: you work hard to sign new clients, install systems, and build recurring revenue. But then you wait. And wait. And wait. Sometimes months go by before you see the money you earned. Meanwhile, your expenses don’t wait - your team, vehicles, marketing, and operations still need to be paid.

That cash flow gap can stall growth, kill momentum, and limit your ability to scale.

We’ve solved this problem for our dealers.

Weekly Funding. Real Cash Flow.

The Reed dealer program gives you access to quick, predictable weekly funding, so you can keep growing without the financial bottleneck.

Here’s what that means in real terms:

  • No more waiting months to get paid
  • Consistent cash flow to cover operations and reinvest in growth
  • Freedom to scale without constantly worrying about receivables
  • A Trusted Canadian Partner

For 25 yearsReed Security has been building recurring revenue and delivering trusted security solutions across Western Canada. We know the challenges dealers face because we’ve lived them. That’s why our program is designed to help you grow your RMR fast, with a strong partner behind you.

When you join the Reed dealer program, you get more than funding. You get:

  • Proven marketing and lead generation strategies
  • Local installation and service support
  • A trusted Canadian brand your clients will recognize
  • A partner who understands the business inside and out
