We had a new boss at Reed Security this week!
Meet Aiden Evans, a 14-year-old Grade 9 student at Walter Murray Collegiate and son of our Awesome Administrator, Lauren Evans.
Aiden joined us for his school's Bring a Friend to Work Day, and we made sure he got a little taste of everything, including running the company!
A Day in the CEO's Chair
Aiden started his day as Co-CEO alongside Virgil Reed, even taking the lead in one of our EOS-style Level 10 management meetings.
Not bad for your first day on the job!

After spending some time in the boardroom, Aiden joined his mom, Lauren, to learn about the administrative side of Reed Security. He helped with filing and entering accounts payable invoices, getting a look at some of the important work that happens behind the scenes.
From the Boardroom to the Job Site
Next, it was time to get his hands dirty!
Aiden headed into the field with our installation technicians Ty, Curtis, Chris and Shea, getting a firsthand look at what goes into installing security systems for our clients.
One of his favourite parts of the day was helping set up security cameras at a client's property.
It's one thing to see security technology in action. It's another to help install it!
Getting to Know Aiden
Outside of school, Aiden enjoys fishing, gaming, spending time outdoors and even changing tires.
When he grows up, he hopes to become a police officer. His reason is simple: he wants to help people.
We think that's a pretty great ambition, and one that fits well with what we do at Reed Security every day.
Thanks for Joining Us, Aiden!
It was great having Aiden spend the day with our team, from the boardroom to the job site.
Who knows? Maybe one day he'll be keeping our community safe as a police officer. Or perhaps we've inspired a future security professional.
Either way, thanks for joining us, Aiden. You did a great job as Co-CEO!
And Lauren, we'll make sure you get your son back. We still need our Awesome Administrator!
